Absolutely zero energy to start this game for us. This will be another loss if we don’t pull our heads out

Scott especially. This transfer concept not working. Still think we need our best players out there. Taplin, Joiner, Jeffries, Igbanu and Falokin

I like this lineup a lot. Need to play them as much as possible together
Timeout and the play is to have Taplin drive.

Our best 5 is Taplin, Joiner, Korita, Jeffries, and Igbanu. Korita is just one of those grind players that does a lot of the little things that help his teammates. He’s also probably our highest basketball IQ player. I just can’t figure out the frequent disappearing acts of Taplin and Jeffries. It just doesn’t make sense.
Igbanu is just solid.
We can’t rebound. I am starting to think there is something fundamentally wrong with whatever whoever is teaching this bunch about rebounding. This team should not be outrebounding us in the way they are. It’s one thing if you’re getting out rebounded by a bigger team like Cincinnati, but this is just embarrassing.
I get that but i don’t get the same damn play in that situation every time.
BTW... we’re 0-2 on that play the last two times we’ve ran it because it’s easy to scout and Taplin never dishes it off.
Reminds me the read option run in football.
If the QB never keeps it, it’s always just a handoff.
I’ve never seen standing and watching the ball result in many rebounds.
Hell, the last rebound bounced between three of our guys and they are looking at it like, “Oh! Look at the pretty ball! I hope someone gets it.”
This has been the best 5 all season and I believe the one that has finished most games.
The rebounding and the fundamental layups we are missing are killing us.
