Cincy has played most of their home games at Northern Kentucky this year because their arena is undergoing renovations, similar to what Houston is doing with TX Southern. Why are they playing in Kentucky ?
The only reason Memphis was there was because Cal was cheating. Everyone knows it and they had a 30+ win season wiped out because of it. They had some serviceable and decent teams under Pastner and even last years team for Tubby wasn’t bad but that got blown up by the Lawsons.Only thing I really disagree with is Memphis. That’s a program on the downward slide imo and are nowhere close to where they’ve typically been over the last twenty plus years. SMU is also headed down imo. Houston is a team to watch going forward as is UCF.
Everytime I hear some jagov saying these things, I wish an audio recording of your post would go over the air.So Memphis could recruit in C-USA 2.0, Gonzaga can recruit in the WCC, Wichita State could recruit in the Valley, VCU can recruit in the A10, Middle Tennessee can recruit in CUSA 3.0, Bucknell can recruit in the Patriots league, Nevada can recruit in the MWC, and Cinci/Temple/Houston can recruit in the AAC...
But UCONN can't recruit in the AAC?
Also, it really sucks that Pittsburgh apparently can't recruit in the ACC. The only explanation is that the ACC sucks.
Bruce Howard tweeted about it last night and Frank retweeted it, it has and probably will continue to spreadBy the way the terrible take from Greenberg has made its way to the Coaching staff AND Tulsa board of trustees. And as to be expected they are not happy.
Nor should they be. The more I think about it the angrier I become.
