Ucf

UCF has a lot going for it. Impressive on the field, and lots of fans in the stands. Too bad the North Carolina game didn't happen.

That's fool's gold on their helmets.

30% of their attendance figures are students who can attend at no additional cost.

The Legislature just caught them diverting at least $60 million dollars in state revenue for construction that cant be used on building maintenance. They did it because they didnt have the funds to keep up their academic buildings AND fund their athletic programs. They are playing Joust with the Legislative experts on why their CFO essentially embezzled money from one source to pay for new buildings, but the only under water budget entity in the university is the athletic department so its hard not to deduct where the money went and why.

Milton is a heck of a player, but there isnt another legit QB on the roster and Josh is having trouble finding a suitable replacement.

Gonna be hard times again at UCF soon enough.

We won’t have to worry about UCF for long...

I see them and USF being part of a new round of conference shifts..possibly big 12. The Florida tv and recruiting region are hard to ignore.

School officials told the state university system’s Board of Governors last week that the 137,000-square-foot Trevor Colbourn Hall was built using state operating funds in direct violation of state policy and law that restricts that funding to activities like instruction, research, libraries, student services or maintenance.

Unlike Colbourn Hall, the three projects only involved partial funding for the facilities, according to the report. The largest expenditure was $7.6 million for furniture, equipment and laboratory space at the Research 1 building, which is used by faculty and students involved in programs such as laser and photonics, nanoscience technology and energy research.

As they did with the $38 million for Colbourn Hall earlier this month, the UCF trustees on Thursday voted to replenish the $13.8 million in funding for the newly identified projects, using funds from “auxiliary” accounts controlled by the university to replace the state operating funds.
