Game is at 6 pm tonight ESPN+ USF is a really good team, favorite to win the conference.

Game versus Temple Tulsa broke down late, still getting in sync and their game legs. Hopefully with no classes they have got in tune.

The Mayberry's are fun to watch, but Lewis, Lascay, and our Icelandic forward put in work, and our other freshman is getting good time on the court and showing promise.

As always since there are replays with ESPN+ which I am now a big fan of, I will put up a spoiler warning if the game is close in the fourth.

7-3 USF about 4 left to play in the first. Tulsa's offense looking much better when going through the post. Intensity has picked up on defense. Going to have to block out and hit shots.

Tulsa is shooting horrible like 2-15. Three have been in and out. After some hiccups to start the defense has tightened up and rebounding is better. Went 1-4 from the free throw.

If we can hit some shots we can close this up. Some new faces getting minutes and looking solid.

Tulsa just can't make a shot, defense is strong. Couple of silly turnovers hurt as well. Refs letting them play in a physical game.

Lots of hero ball as the girls have become more frustrated. Defense looks strong but USF started to make shots at the end of the half.

4-30, Tulsa went 4-30 in the first half. USF had one more FG attempt.

Despite being noticeably smaller they were only outrebounded 27-25.

Really Tulsa just has to make shots and they can grab a win.

Wide open game first five minutes of the second half. Tulsa finally hitting some shots, still looking sloppy at times. USF shooting slightly better, but now having a good run on the boards to stay in front.

Now shooting 4-7 from field in the second half so far.

We have struggled every other possesion on offense, when we haven't struggled, we've missed shots, sometimes bad shots, sometimes good shots. Some misses look good some look bad. Tulsa 9-49 for 13%. Defense is strong but not enough offense to get that win.

Last two minutes TU's offense has looked much better but we still can't make shots.

Getting some bench players good minutes and they have looked decent.

Have to get the offense going if they want to win games. Tulsa needs to get in the upper 50s or 60s and the defense is good enough to keep them in every game.

Offense and defensive lapses to finish the game. Disappointing and the first game so far the girls seemed to lose the edge they had been playing with.

Offense was very shakey and at times completely broke down. When it did get good looks it missed 11/57 from the field.

Finished -11 on rebounds but only lost offensive boards 11-10 so it really was about the shooting, which probably led to some of the bad offensive sets as players tried to get something going.

Rest up, watch the tape and come back next game with some fire, schedule is a little easier than the two favorites out of three games we just had.

Coach post game:

We have to do something to get our players an easy score. Talked about less driving into their bigs and kicks, but even when we did get it out we missed.

They will be looking for a game to fill in since SMU WBB cancelled their season. Talks about the stress on the girls dealing with covid. No family for christmas, no going out, no one at the games to see and cheer them. Just talked about how proud she was because the girls are doing everything they are asked off the court when this isn't what people come to college expecting.

Talked about how a large group of family and friends had been headed to SMU to watch them play since the ponies were letting in fans.

Then went back to talk about how these cancelled games hurt to because now the girls are doing this work for nothing, how they will do everything she can to get a game and try to get this back to as normal as she can for the kids. You can hear in her voice that she sees how it is affecting the kids and how much that bothers her.

Other things have been priorities. I would say at the moment is an unfair evaluation. USF is a damn good team. UCF is pretty good and Houston appears a step behind them. We also have struggled just to get games in.

The games vs OSU and UCF we looked good. Temple we started to struggle, but they also just hit some ridiculous shots and Wyvette had some freshman moments, she did again today as well. But really today if we just make some of the shots we should we probably have a similar game as we did versus UCF. The next few games are more middle of the pack conference teams so we will see if we stack up to where we should be.

Losing the SMU game hurts because that was a team we should have been able to get on track with. I am going to wait till the team can get a regular schedule going to judge, but yeah she has had a lot of slack and needs to win.

Mossman is the worst coach we have in the department. Crazy how bad that program is and there has not been a change. They REALLY overacheived at OSU with OSU not taking them seriously.
