PROVIDENCE, RI – Game times and network coverage for seven of Tulsa’s 12 football games in 2018 has been established, it was announced today by the American Athletic Conference.
Tulsa’s first three home games, two in the month of September and one in October, will each be played at 6:00 p.m. (CT) at H.A. Chapman Stadium
Tulsa opens the 2018 season on Sept. 1 at home against the Central Arkansas Bears (6 p.m.). The game can be seen on ESPN’s digital carrier, ESPN3. Following a road game at Texas that will be aired on the Longhorn Network at 7:00 p.m. on Sept. 8, the Golden Hurricane will return home Sept. 15 to face Arkansas State (6 p.m.) on CBS Sports Network.
The Hurricane will then play three straight weeknight games with all three being aired on ESPN. Tulsa opens American Athletic Conference play at Temple on Thursday, Sept. 20, with a 6:30 p.m. (CT) start time, and follows that up with another Thursday night road contest at Houston on Oct. 4 with a kickoff time of 7:00 p.m. (CT). Tulsa returns home to face USF in a Friday night, Oct. 12 game with the start time slated for 6:00 p.m. (CT).
A road game at Navy on Nov. 17 will be aired on CBS Sports Network with a start time of 2:30 p.m. (CT).
