TU vs UTulsa

Anyone notice that almost all of the marketing materials and social media content now refers to TU as UTulsa? Not sure how I feel about it.

I prefer it. Doesn't get confused with other universities and puts the name Tulsa out there. This way they can also not get it confused with UT.(Texas)

One is meant to be spoken or written,(UTulsa) the other is meant to be chanted.(TU)

Athletic version - TU
Marketing version - UTulsa
Alma Mater version - Tulsa U

My diploma says " The University of Tulsa".. the seal says " Wisdom Faith Service for CHRIST and the State"..

We are THE University of Tulsa..

That doesn't deal with what they are addressing. They are addressing TU/UT/UTulsa. The shortened version has identity problems that UTulsa resolves.
