TU Sports goes to Big Country 99.5 (Scripts of Tulsa)

That's a good point. I forgot Rick is a KRMG employee. I hope Rick is still the sidekick I really like him.

This is really good 4 TU Sports Coverage. HUGE radio coverage network area that will reach; Ok City, Joplin, Ft. Smith, & @ times Wichita

Question: Will this eefect the other stations that broadcast TU sports around the state - in Bartlesville, Cushing, Enid, McAlester, Okmulgee and Vinita.

It shouldn't affect the satellite stations in the other towns mentioned as it is likely Learfield sells broadcast to them and not KRMG. I'll ask Rick what the change might mean for him, if any. While Bruce is an employee of the university, I believe everyone that works in the broadcast does so with approval from Learfield and not the flagship station. Bruce signing off at the end of coverage said something to that effect. The online stream is probably something to do more with Leaefield and the All Access than it did with KRMG. I don't understand why Learfield insists on the All Access especially now that every game can be seen on the WatchESPN app. Maybe they'll soften that now

I'm pretty sure Rick is paid by TU to do the broadcasts. So I doubt it changes anything. I believe Rick was doing color in the 1430 days.
