There is absolutely no reason to think SMU will challenge Tulsa on Friday evening at Chapman Stadium. Unless past history means anything. Tulsa (3-1) is clearly a better team than visiting SMU. The Mustangs (2-3, 0-1 AAC) have done nothing whatsoever to show that they are a threat. But in Tulsa’s series with SMU, that type of thinking has gotten the Hurricane in trouble, because some really, really bad SMU teams have given good Tulsa teams fits.
