3-star wide receiver Malik Rodgers of Pearland (TX) Shadow Creek became a top target for the Golden Hurricane in November when Tulsa extended a scholarship offer. The 5-foot-10 and 165-pound speedster has been committed to Air Force since September, but an official visit to the TU campus in December has him thinking over his options.

FULL STORY: Tulsa gives Rodgers plenty to think about

If someone asked you if you had a feeling about how this is going to go, what would you say?

A receiver choosing between a program who doesn't throw the ball and one that does throw the ball....providing they have a QB. Seems like a fairly easy choice unless the kid wants to be a AF pilot.

I would never begrudge a kid who decided on a service academy. He obviously is looking beyond college and football to what he wants to do afterwards. He holds offers from 2 out of the 3 service academies and at least 2 Ivy schools. He's obviously very bright and just reading his quotes in the story, he seems to take pride in his attention to detail.
