Outstanding video. Never had so much fun as a fan than in the Myriad that weekend.

Fantastic! My son and I still talk about that Arkansas game. That was the loudest most electrifying crowd I've ever been part of. Then the two tourney wins had me screaming at my TV. I was settling into Reno and having trouble seeing the tourney games in the Elite Eight year because we weren't playing west coast teams so the Sweet Sixteen years are my memory of the pinnacle of TU basketball.

I remember being in my room at LaFortune Hall with my suite mates and campus exploding after Lou hit the 3 against OSU. I was lucky enough to get tickets to Dallas for the next weekend. I know we lost but I still got to see Arkansas and the Fab 5 minus Webber on Sunday after going through the 2hr Secret Service security check. Fun times.

Posted this before, but I leaped so high in the Myriad when Lou (who was not a good shooter) nailed the 3 that I sprained my ankle landing. Worth it.

I wonder if Shea has run into Pooh or Tubby out on the recruiting trail yet... if we weren't competing for the same kind of player, it would seem like they would do well to 'team up' so to speak and have a sort of recruiting alliance.

Bill Self always talks about TU as being a special place to him, but you don't really get the feeling he wanted to stay any longer than he did. Whenever you see Tubby in interviews and asked to talk about his time here, you get the feeling there are times where he wished he might have stayed a few more seasons. You can see the light in his eye whenever he talks about the '93-94 team...I don't get the same vibe from him when he's asked about Kentucky.
