Wasn’t she “fired” as a result of the head coach being fired? Collateral damage versus fired for cause? Wouldn’t it be like our assistant football coaches being fired as a result of Monty being fired?

She’s arguably KSU’s all time best player for that program. Getting let go after less than a year raises questions. Typically assistants with credibility and those kinds of ties to the program keep the lights on and wait and see what the new head coach wants to do. A housecleaning in an Olympic sport is concerning. We shall see.
