Transfer RB

Welcome to Tulsa Steven!

Southern Miss always seemed to have good RBs over the years. In our amazing snow game win over Southern Miss in 1991, they had a very good RB who kept getting one first down after another. He was a first round pick in the NFL draft the next spring.

Out of Live Oak, Florida. Suwannee high school. A LOT of great players out of there over the years.

UCF and USF passed on him. That’s a concern. Kiffin offered him at FAU.

Looks to be a tweener between RB and HB.

Lord knows we went how many years without a short yardage back in a running offense so definitely glad he’s here.

Oh Boy! We sure could use another Alex Singleton. Inside the 10 yard line they knew he was coming but they could not stop him!
Singleton brought pain to tacklers. Loved watching him blow up linebackers.

One of KUs BIG WRs tweeted out an offer as a transfer WR yesterday. Dude is 6'4" 220lbs. He was a senior and tweeted out he has 2 years of eligibility remaining. Would be nice.

Transfer CB‘s IN to Tulsa:

KU?
Texas A&M?
Juco via UCO & Idabel (Sleeper)

TU needs to make a run at the Missouri State CB….Fascinating story. Was a VT and finally got healthy at Missouri State. There’s one other CB from Kansas that has really gotten a lot of talk. He’s a stud.

Monty knows value and is not impulsive. Yes, we’ve lost some DB’s. We’ll find one more DB, and there’s approximately 25 CB’s in the portal with immediate eligibility. With that said, on the defensive side of the ball DB is the most difficult position to play.

Whoever it is I hope they have some speed and length. Those things can somewhat make up for a lack of skill if there is one.
