"We were just thoroughly beaten here tonight," UTEP coach Tim Floyd said. "Their guard play was just outstanding, absolutely outstanding. (Cameron) Payne is the best guard we have played against this year - without a doubt. He has great command of the game. He cut us up. He was worth 30-something points to their team tonight. (T.J.) Sapp was better than we were tonight. The young man on the perimeter, Jarvis Williams, completely manhandled us on the boards and in transition.

"I thought they were tougher than us," Floyd said. "I thought we came ready to play and I thought we played hard. But we were beaten in transition, we were beaten on the glass. They shot it better than we did. I thought they took great looks all night long and that had a lot to do with the guard play of Cameron Payne."

Yeah, but take that with a grain of salt...UTEP under Floyd's watch, IMO, has been a pretty soft team. They have had lots of talent but even with that talent they have been soft.
