Early but:
App taking it to Tenn
UConn trailing Maine
Vandy up on USC south
UNM tied w/ S. Dakota
WKU handing it to Rice

UConn still tied.

Cincinnati should have gotten blown out but UTM crumbled in the red zone over and over first half.

Why is DeAndre Jordan on the UNM sideline.

AAC wins two - Uconn barely and Cincy, but Tulane losses to WF.
App taking Tenn to OT

How anyone associated with college football thinks Tennessee is anywhere near a top 25 team let alone top 10 is beyond me. When I first saw the poll I thought it surely had to be a misprint. It just proves even further there is a bias towards the SEC. South Carolina will probably get a top 10 vote after beating Vanderbilt last night. That game was difficult to watch as both seemed horribly inept on offense...IMO that ineptness was not due to good defense. QBs couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from 5 yards.

Minnesota and Oregon St was entertaining. Gritty performance by Goldie despite some questionable coaching decisions in the 4th quarter. Minnesota has a 6'10" TE with really good hands and pretty quick feet. The DBs looked pretty tiny against him.

That poor showing by Tulane, Cincinnati, and Uconn was against crap competition. Wow are they all gonna be bottom feeders? Not an abnormal position for Tulane, but Cincinnati and Uconn? What happened to Uconn's defense? I realize Cincinnati won by 3 touchdowns, but against Tennessee Martin? That should have been 56-7, not 28-7. Uconn's defense sucked out loud and imo Cincinnati's offense. Hopefully this will have been first game jitters by Uconn & Cincinatti.

This years Cincy game is very winnable at home. They are over-hyped. IMO

The game I don't like on our schedule is that NC A@T game. We probably won't be motivated and they are actually a decent FCS team and are ranked in the top 25 right now. Nothing to gain, everything to lose.

At least it's not a season opener. There will be game tape for Monty and Co. to break down on them

Wake Forest had 175 total yards in a 7-3 barnburner over Tulane. You know, I have to quit being optimistic that the AAC is someday going to be a decent football conference.
