Won't be gaining any weight this year due to the indigestion induced by rooting for OSU on Thanksgiving versus Memphis. My how things have changed in a year..... I hated rooting for Memphis but had no problem pulling for Tubby. Little chance in Hell that I can justify supporting the Tigers, Penny, and his newly bought and paid for squad. Conference affiliation was the only possible thread, but I can't even get on board with that.....

I can never root for OSU...unless they’re playing OU. And I still feel dirty when I do

I’d root for OSU against ISIS, Gilead, the Lannisters, Nazis, the Cubs, Def Leppard, McEwan’s Scotch Ale, Butt cancer, and Rice. But that’s it.
They should really make a version of cards against humanity that's sports themed.

Condoleeza or Susan? I prefer Brown.

I hated the hire of Boynton when it was announced. Still not sold on his ability to coach. However, he might be the most like-able coach I've ever come across. Hard not to root for him. He hand wrote every student who purchased a season ticket last year a thank you card. Never had seen anything like that from a head coach.

It's all about relationships and cultivating them. Every one of those students now feels like they know him personally and that is important if you think about their one season ticket turning into a 25 year ticket.

Despite the fact that it probably took him 3 or 4 hours it was worthwhile time spent signing signatures.

I'm on board with Boynton and actually think highly of Gundy.... Just can't get by all of the other stuff that is aggie.

Gundy wears me thin at times. Boynton seems like a down to earth genuine guy who works his tail off. Really like him thus far.

Are there any OSU fans who think Gundy is trying to get canned? I think he likes his job, but I can't imagine he likes working for Holder and the crap he says or the stuff T Boone says.

I don’t think he’s trying to get canned. I do think he’s extremely arrogant and often butt heads with an equally arrogant AD. Gundy likes parts of the job...coaching. He hates recruiting and tends to focus on his son’s baseball team during the summer which hurts trying to get kids to Stillwater. His days of being the young hungry football coach are behind him imo. Which means you better find young hungry assistants. Not sure he has that currently on his staff.

Boynton works as hard as any coach I’ve seen. Very impressed with him thus far. This year will be tough with all the newcomers. He needs to land some solid 2019 and 2020 kids.

What have you got against Def Leppard? At least they’re not fronted by a karaoke singer.

The Lannisters send their regards.

They didn’t even chart in England. They are a crappy, crappy band that needs to go away. Enjoy then at the next state fair and retirement home you see them at.

boynton was at the golf championship at Karsten high-fiving anyone that would take him up on it. I thot it was pretty cool to see him that excited for the school.

Damn.

Guess haters gonna hate.

We feel the same way about Guns N Roses. Just get that mess off my radio.

And to add insult to injury, AC/DC invited that idiot Axl Rose to sing for them to finish out their last tour.

At least I was fortunate enough to attend Brian Johnson’s final performance with the band.

Certainly not a daily listener any more but they damn good in their day.

GnR, Faith No More and Metallica in the Astrodome followed by Pearl Jam, Sound Garden, Rage Against the Machine, Ice Cube, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Ministry then next day at StarPlex in Dallas was my best concert weekend by far.
Wouldn’t do it again though, LOL

Dude was making something like $50k three years ago. Now he’s pulling down $1.5M. I’d be high-fiving everyone I saw with that kind of pay increase. He seems like a truly genuine guy.
