Wow.. Nice Small college stadium!
it doesn't seem nearly as outrageous when compared to Allen.
I thought he built the whole town. You mean The House that Todd Graham Built?
This. People see the article on Facebook and start trashing McKinney for doing something like this at the expense of other programs. What people don't realize is that very often it's the shinier projects that are part of the bond votes that get people to vote yes and support the other parts of the bond projects such as enhancing schools and classrooms, IT and STEM improvements, newer safer more energy efficient buses, etc. Plus, in Oklahoma, school districts cannot use bond votes to pay for personnel positions, i.e. teachers and admin staff, at least that is my understanding of how the law reads. This type of bond issue takes no money away from the school districts and is money they get in addition to their state/federal monies.Impressive, but according to the article there are 6 high schools in McKinney so it doesn't seem nearly as outrageous when compared to Allen. They will probably schedule varsity games there Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

BTW, some state legislators in OK individual county assessors for the decrease in tax revenue and the subsequent anticipated budget shortfall for schools throughout the state. Fact is legislators have continued to offer tax incentives to companies making plenty of money. While it would not completely dig the state out of its present hole, it would help lessen the cuts some.
If only he had been that the Alamo!I thought he built the whole town.
