On February 23, 2020, two-time USA Baseball alumna Shelby Estocado suffered a T6 spinal cord injury as a result of a snowboarding accident, paralyzing her from the abdomen down. The USA Baseball Women’s National Team has formed a fundraising campaign to assist the Estocado family with their medical expenses. Supporters may contribute donations to aid in the recovery of No. 23 Shelby Estocado.
