review of TU-Memphis

Once again, great video. I really like watching Haith talk after the game. Great job motivating and focusing the group on the task at hand. This win was huge, but it's not as big as the one we can get Wednesday. Get that one, and I will be feeling great.

I love it when Haith says "If I didn't challenge you, we wouldn't be competing for a championship."

Then, voice growing louder "WE CONTROL OUR OWN DESTINY"

Nothing against DM because he was a fine X's and O's coach, but I think Haith's experience in the locker room and big game settings has allowed him to work the nuance of coaching and knowing exactly what each player on the team needs to hear to bring out their very best on the court. Coaching is so much more about being able to draw up a key play at this level.

Great video, great win. This team is special.

Best one yet!!

Wow, Edogi's replays look even better the second time. Dude stepped up huge.

Do y'all notice we don't waste any time celebrating after big shots? Head down, hustle back on D. We get a little from Juice after a big three or the team when the opponent calls an immediate timeout, but otherwise this is all business. Great focus.

Junkie, Edogi puts himself into great position and knows where he needs to be to be open for a pass coming his way. Swannegan has started doing it better. Wright still needs to get there. But TK really understands spacing and where he needs to be. Let's not forget the passes that got him to those dunks either. Curtis is a tremendous passer and has tremendous vision on the court. I don't think he gets enough credit for those two aspects of his game. Shaq has started to develop that feel that all great PGs have. He knows teams are bringing everyone into the lane to stop him and he has really started dropping passes off with a really deft touch and also looking defenders off of where he is passing the ball. The one to TK was a thing of beauty...I almost thought he 'megged the defender on it.
