With so many recent games in the series between TU and SMU being so close, there was no way anybody saw this coming. Tulsa was defeated in every facet of the game by a previously mediocre SMU on Homecoming, as SMU defeated Tulsa 45-34 Saturday afternoon in front of a crowd of 22,993 at H.A. Chapman Stadium.
