I think the agent is the problem. There is no more unscrupulous individual than a sports agent trying to get rich off a young athlete. Players can enter the draft now and return to school if they don’t hire an agent (I think). I think the NBA should either get rid of the one and done rule entirely or go the NFL route and make it three years. While LeBron and Kobe are the players people think about when the think of high school to the NBA it’s been going on for years. Moses Malone never went to college. I think the big difference between Malone’s time and now is the amount of money and the fact that it seems every kid playing basketball seems to think he’s a future NBA superstar.what impact would this have on us

And honestly, why would anyone in football or basketball need an agent until after the draft? All the contracts are $ slotted now so there is not much negotiation needed.I think the agent is the problem.
