Bakersfield (CA) Liberty point guard Isaiah Hill had a terrific summer of AAU basketball with the Compton Magic, which earned him numerous scholarship offers, including one from the University of Tulsa on July 23. The 5-foot-11 guard took an official visit to the Tulsa campus last weekend, and two days later, he announced his commitment to the Golden Hurricane.

Tremendous job by coach Haith and his staff to seal the deal with Isaiah
Hill.
Yes, they do deserve cudos....If I'm not mistaken, this is the first time since
2016 that we received a commitment from a HS player that was in our original
prospect pool.....You might say Joiner in 2017, but he was probably behind Vic
Bailey on our wish list.....

Good job by all involved....We REALLY needed to get a real point guard in
this class, and Isaiah seems to fill the bill nicely......
