Paulson answers Poke

OK here's the drill. The NYT and other lieberal rags search the ranks of the RINO Republicans to find someone; anyone who'll help prove their point and their view of the world. When they find one (and there are more than some of us think), they make him an expert on whatever subject they are promoting at that moment. That person then becomes the "Mr Know-it All" and is pushed in order to confuse the issue to the loyal republicans.

Its so good not to be a Republican - after tomorrow.

There is nothing in that article other than some ex-govt offical who's presently out of work giving a personal opinion over something he knows virtually nothing about - as he admits. Waste of space and read time.

Still didn't answer two of my greatest questions?

1. What did the caveman do to start the melting of the North American Ice Sheet 12,000 yrs ago?

and..

2. Sea levels today are 100 - 200 meters lower than they were 100,000,000 yrs ago...( not enough Ice in the world to raise them that much) and are currently at levels equivalent to 250,000,000 yrs ago (almost the lowest in the historic record.).. where did the water go?

Thanks for posting. Whether you agree or disagree with the global warming argument we all benefit from becoming informed on the subject. Much of the scientific stuff posted by Voetvoet needs to be dumbed down for a simpleton like myself.

Try harder. Paulson was one of Time Magazines "25 People to Blame for the Financial Crisis" after the 2008 crash. He has never been anything but an environmental extremist. He embraced global cooling when it was convenient to do so. Now golbal warming. He was in the Nixon administration as an assstant to John Ehrlichman for crying out loud. Insinuating that every lieberal person out there that happens to be a registered Republican (a party, not ideology) is a way to distort the discussion. Try harder.

Poke,

Risky Business Project co-chairs Michael R. Bloomberg, Henry Paulson, and Tom Steyer tasked the Rhodium Group, an economic research firm that specializes in analyzing disruptive global trends, with an independent assessment of the economic risks posed by a changing climate in the U.S. ;Rhodium convened a research team co-led by climate scientist Dr. Robert Kopp of Rutgers University and economist Dr. Solomon Hsiang of the University of California, Berkeley. Rhodium also partnered with Risk Management Solutions (RMS), the world's largest catastrophe-modeling company for insurance, reinsurance, and investment-management companies around the world. The team's complete assessment, along with technical appendices, is available at Rhodium's website, climateprospectus.rhg.com.
