UH looks as great as last year
Destroying ORU similar to our games there
Abmas barely showing up

Houston could win it all this year. I hate Houston, but credit where credit is due. I also don’t mind seeing Oru get run out of the gym in comical fashion.

Yeah kind of puts our lack of a blowout vs. Jackson St in perspective.

I saw that as puffing to sell tickets but It was not prudent and can backfire

NIL == anyone can buy 5 good players.. ??? what is happening with the upsets ?

Them losing Obanor’s ability to pick and pop off of the ball screen led to their quick demise.

I keep wondering....Does a "bought" player compete with the same vim and vigor
as one simply playing for the love of the game?

In other games, 1-2 Northwestern State beats #15 TCU by 1 in FW. NWSU in Southland conference.
I think TCU's ranking is a product of Jamie Dixon being there and promise. They've had similar rankings but have performed poorly. They will be a bubble team come March. They'll have 1-2 marquee wins but will finish the Big XII season with a .500 record and something like an 19-12 regular season beating "most" of their scrub non-conference competition.

I don’t know. I know everyone thought Bryce Thompson as a five star would be one and done at Kansas and he was one of the first to get NIL etc. I’m sure he felt he would not be at Kansas long , and he wasn’t.

Yes....He was more none and done......It's ironic how a different environment and
and a heightened level of competition just destroy some players, but we've seen
it time after time.,.....

Uh, they had that once in a lifetime year 2 year ago, especially when we're talking about ORU whose conference is one of the worst in America.
Wasn't that Wojick's thing, the year we've been waiting for? That turned out not to be? Unless you're the kind of person who eagerly waits for their colonoscopy.

The one year where Uzoh and Jordan were seniors and we still had Hurtt. That team underachieved so badly.
It was all Wheatley's fault!!!11

Although, I still remember Wheatley looking like an All-American vs. OSU at home that season.
