OR who game thread

Vanover trying 3 point shots. That’s nuts.

Need to play better defense on Assmas.

Looks like Selebangue is not having too much trouble with the arkansas center. Here comes SGC.

Chukwu looking active and good. He should be in really good shape by conference play, and hopefully we'll get special k by then. Will make our guard play better, having three front court players contributing.

33% from the line and 8 turnovers is the take of the game so far. You can’t leave 6 points on the line and give them 10 points on turnovers and expect to come away a winner. We really need to clean that up.

This may be a 20 loss season like Haiths last 2 maybe we can get players for next year Oru Is our Little Brother geez

Selebangue is killing it no matter which big man they put out there.

Need Dalger to take over inside. Griffin and Betson at guard.

AP will improve but how much and how soon is the question. IMO we must have a portal point guard to be a much better team next year. The bigs coming in will help the outside shooters and a great ball handler will help everyone.

So I was able to finally watch the game from Saturday. Just very underwhelmed. The NET comes out tomorrow

He also lost lost his first 2 matchups with ORU, have to give Konkol time to get his players in. These are still mostly Haith players
He lost his first two matchups against ORU with a stacked team laden with Seniors which was horse crap. I give Konkol more leeway due to his squad's makeup, but let's not just excuse bad behavior just because the previous coach sucked.

Pritchard has a lot of improving to do...one good play then another turnover . Frustrating
to watch all of his mistakes .
There is NOT a competent PG on this ball club.....Poor handling, poor decision on
passes, too many turnovers, and not much real play making.....Pritchard has been
a huge disappointment, with his poor passing, and way too many TO's.......The
others are simply not PGs....No guard on our team can handle it, pass it, and
play make and defend on the other end.........That is what good PGs do....We
don't block out, and we don't appear to fight for the ball......

That is a huge problem for not only this season, but next.....We are running very
thin on available scholarships, and if we will be what we hope for next year, we
need a couple of guards that can play make without turning it over 4 or 5 times,
and can defend on the other end.....Our small guards have been a really prominent
prob. on the defensive end and defensive rebounding ......They seem to stand flat
footed while the opponents get an offensive rebound and put it back in...

We have further to go then most of us thought.....Let's hope that Konkol can
patch up the ol' inner tube enough to put a good team on the floor next season...
We can't afford to go into next season with such an obvious and damaging prob...

Woodard and Harrison would have stopped the ORU guards. And rebounded as well. We have to get back to that intensity. It seems like we can get shooters or defensive intensity but not both ???

And I agree there is not a PG in sight. There are so many really good point guards making all-conference in D2 and even small D1 conferences that a portal grab has become almost imperative.

Not many players will block out on defense anymore, all they want to do
is see who can jump the highest .
