Opening line

Seems right.

Haith’s recent teams...
-Beat bad teams at home fairly comfortably.
-Beat good and really good teams at home (typically super tight games)
-Beat decent and bad teams on the road (close games).
-Get absolutely pounded by good/really good teams on the road.

Haith’s recipe to beat really good teams.
-Make it super ugly.
-Pack the D in the lane.
-Hope teams miss shots.

Good/great teams at home don’t typically miss a ton of shots.

Games in the 50’s and 60’s - High chance of winning.

Games >68 points - Will typically lose.

This TU Team is super gritty...wins more with less. But, is in no way explosive offensively.

Coogs shot historically bad here. They won’t repeat that. Sounds about right. Hope we don’t sit in a zone all night.

We need KES, Haywood, and/or Richie to have a Pat Birt game.

They can be bad shooters and get 2 offensive rebounds per possession.

If Sasser and Grimes are hot from three we have no chance..... got to hope they are as cold as SH*&%T.

Also Houston will be all over the O boards, fouling at every turn.

This is why I question Houston as a viable team in the NCAA Tourney. Samson's team won't get away with that crap in the Tourney especially if they are playing a P5, the refs will not let it happen.

GO TU!!!!
