the best since the 2012 or the 2006 class. Or is it even better?

The Jucos are always hard to guess and the Aussie is an unkown as well.

But on paper I have to give it up to Haith and Co.

The American Conference is helping I think.

Anyone else have thoughts?

GO TU!!!!

I want to see the TU Fab 5 play (they should start the first 2016 exhibition) (or is that the Fab 6, or 7...)

Didn't know where to ask this and hope its not improper to post a recruiting question here, but I have one.

There is a kid at Union HS that evidently is really good and a major prospect in the area and has been offered by OU, OSU and TU according to Vype magazine. His name is Ethan Chargois a 6-8 forward. I recall a player at TU quite a while back named John Chargois (i believe) on the FB team. Is there a relationship and if so, does that mean we have a legit chance at signing this player? He's just a junior according to Vype.

John is Ethan's father. I believe Gold had some good information a while back in the Alley. Maybe he can mention this again. He has 6 offers but I don't believe OU is one. Tulsa, OSU, ORU, TCU, New Mexico and Florida Intl. Unless we sign a 5th year grad this year or have some attrition, we will only have 1 scholarship for 2017. I believe Elijah Landrum is our top priority but Chargois is up there as well.

Interestingly enough,Chargois is good but Mo Garcia may be the best player on that Union team. He's a sophomore and the son of the coach. He's 6'5ish and plays a lot like Lawson Korita does. Outstanding shooter. Good off the bounce. He's a strong kid and an excellent 1 on 1 defender.

I've heard good things about Garcia. His sister graduated from TU in my program.

Landrum or Chargois would either be a strong win for TU recruiting. And be the best recruit for TU since Seals, Swanson, and Parker.

Swanson wasn't that highly regarded coming out of HS because of his size. He fit a role that Self saw him in. Seals and Ruffin were the highest kids I remember coming to TU. Parker was a great player but it didn't seem like he had a lot of other options in terms of high mid-majors or majors at the time. Marcus Hill was an after thought as most schools went after Ryan Humphrey. I know Wojcik was able to get some highly rated kids to commit, but I never actually saw any team results as part of that. Maybe that's the coach's fault.

DeAngelo McDaniel was one of the highest rated recruits to come to Tulsa. Self was estatic that he chose Tulsa over other high major programs. We missed out on Waymon Tisdale (barely, lots of stories about this) , Lee Mayberry (decommitted from TU), Mark Price, Kelenna Azubuike, Eton Thomas, and Kevin Pritchard. And some would say Rotnei Clarke !

If Nolan had signed both Tisdale and Price he would have never left Tulsa. We would have gone to the Final Four and Tulsa would be Gonzaga and Butler put together.

Too bad so close.

GO TU!!!
