Have you ever seen a year with so many head coaches not making it to seasons end?

Beckman, Edsall, Sarkisian, Spurrier.....did I miss any?

Given his recent record, Graham isn't going anywhere.

Arizona State isn't a bad job. South Carolina wouldn't be a move up. USC might be a reach.

That guy has to be one of the most mercurial coaches in college football history. Is there another coach out there who has coached for more teams in fewer years than TG? Rice, Tulsa, Pitt and ASU within 6 or 7 seasons thereabouts? That's gotta be a record.

Someone mentioned USC will probably wait until the end of the season and start pursuing Kyle Whittingham from Utah. The other name to be aware of there is Chip Kelly. IMO, Utah is the best team in the country right now. South Carolina- Ed Orgeron, Cutcliff at Duke. It won't be too long before a P5 goes after Navy's coach (I am not even going to attempt to spell is name, Ken N). Maryland will probably pull a top assistant from somewhere and Boomer Esiason will disagree with whoever they pick. Fuente will be in the mix for both those jobs. And I wouldn't put it beyond someone to reach out to Herman even though he's only a year in. If Fuente leaves, look for Memphis to go after Sonny Cumbie.

McCarney at North Texas got fired after losing to an FCS school 66-7. That is Portland State's 2nd FBS win this season.

The other name to keep an eye on in some of the P5 schools is Glen Spencer the DC at OSU. He's done some amazing things with that side of the ball.

Franchione went from New Mex to TCU to Bama to A&M in about 6 or 7 years as well. So yeah, he's quite the whore too. Really, the only thing Franchione ever did was recruit Tomlinson to TCU.

Fran didn't recruit Tomlinson, that was Pat Sullivan.

If Willingham takes the USC job I could see Fuente at Utah.
