Are you on the right board? But what nimrod gave a #24 ranking to SMU?
Are you on the right board?
Someone is scoreboard watching only for SMU to get anything. Props to the Ponies for beating Houston, but Houston is beat up, including Ward. Everyone now knows the secret to beating Houston and it's keeping Ward in the pocket and throwing from there. He doesn't have a terribly strong or accurate arm. His best throws are from when he is improvising or forced from the pocket (or Applewhite has him roll out). I'd rather see TU and Memphis getting the votes since their losses are to ranked opposition and they've taken care of business against others.
And yet some of the best teams in the country have been unable to do that, especially last year.Pretty sure everyone has known for last several years the key was to contain Ward Jr.
CBS doesn't release their rankings until Monday afternoon. Tulsa was ranked 50th after the Houston loss and now we are ranked 41st. FYI, Memphis is ranked 47th.Just checked CBS top 128 and we dropped down a spot to #50... Wtf??? Win and drop down?

We're playing in Memphis...that's the only reason. Plus the ESPN pickers don't really know anything about TU other than winning consecutive OT games against 1 terrible team and a pretty bad (but improving team). We're not a sexy pick and Memphis is still living off of their accomplishments from last year.I checked it again today and noticed that. How come we're predicted to lose to Memphis by the ESPN pickers 66 to 33 percent and yet we're ranked higher than them? I don't feel we're underdogs. Memphis only hung 24 on Tulane before we played em. We'll easily beat these chumps.
