Memphis is 4-13 and #200 NET. We need to pull away in the second half
Memphis just got their best player back last game and beat Tulane. Tulane beat Temple on the road today.
At least 5 times Cartwright knocked hard to the floor. If this game stays as physical as it is, Cartwright may end up in the hospital.
Just listening to the broadcast comments and looking at today’s scoreboard.Damn….you have your pulse on AAC women’s basketball. Thanks for the info
Did they identify that player? I’m seeing the same core group.Just listening to the broadcast comments and looking at today’s scoreboard.
May be Hagemann. Only played 7 games this season but starting today. I think she was a Mich St transfer.Did they identify that player? I’m seeing the same core group.
Looks like she had to sit out first semester. Was eligible mid December. She’s averaging over 35 minutes a game. She’s a really good player. They’re still 2-4 in conference with her though.May be Hagemann. Only played 7 games this season but starting today. I think she was a Mich St transfer.

I asked the same thing. Assume injured because she is on the bench dressed out but never removed warm ups in last two games. What’s happened with Bradley? Is she injured? I didn’t see her on the bench.
I don’t believe I seen Bradley at all today. We had our 10 players in uniform and the 2 freshmen in the red shirts.Maybe I am wrong but I was looking for her. I also have not seen Miller the Creighton transfer since before the holidays. The ladies are short handed but are hanging in there.I asked the same thing. Assume injured because she is on the bench dressed out but never removed warm ups in last two games.
I agree. In the Memphis keys to the game they said it was to deny Crawford the ball. They were very successful but other TU players (Hill, Cartwright, Alexander and Periman) stepped up their scoring. They are going to have to cut down on turnovers to win against better teams although Memphis wins at Tulane and lost by 2 against UTSA. They need to run some plays early to get Delanie going we need her scoring she was 0 for 5 from 3.
I knew Cartwright was tough but this game convinced me she may be the toughest player on the team. The hit after she scored her layup the caused her to hit her head on the base that holds the basket and the tie ball where the Memphis player flipped her over her body and she slammed her head on the court were violent. After both she came out but returned to the game and made some key plays to help secure the win. She should have been the St Francis patient, I mean player, of the game.
On the replay it wasn’t as flagrant as it looked in real time. The player was pulling to get the ball but the hit of the head on the floor was still bad. The one after the layup looked like the player cut her legs out after they were out of bounds as she ran through the basket. She hit the ground 5 times during the game and as mentioned two of the were extremely hard to her head. The Memphis player should have been charged with a flagrant foul. I wasn’t the only one that thought that as several fans were loudly yelling the same thing that was heard on the ESPN+ broadcast.
