Evans is transferring again, this time as a grad who is immediately eligible. Wonder if he'd walk on at Tulsa? Seems to be a strange situation since he's from Utah.

Logan • Senior forward Lew Evans is transferring out of the Utah State basketball program.

Evans attended Highland High School in Salt Lake. He will graduate from USU this spring, and will be immediately eligible to play, although it is not known where he will end up for his final college season.

Evans averaged 8.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in 21.4 minutes per game last season, when Utah State finished 16-15. He missed time on two occasions because of concussion symptoms.

After helping Highland win the Class 4A state championship in 2011, Evans attended prep school in New Hampshire and junior college in Wyoming. He played one year of Division I basketball at Tulsa before transferring to Utah State.
