Keyarris Garrett Drafted in the XFL Draft

Any signs of Keevan or Trey Watts?

My understanding is yesterday was the offense draft and today is defense. If that is accurate then they weren’t drafted. I believe there will be FA signings after the fact and teams will still need more WRs and RBs.

Garrett and Dex were signed high enough they’re likely starters on their teams. If Lucas and Trey end up on a team they’ll come in as backups but as we know they’re tough SOBs and could still end up starting.

Also, there’s much better talent being drafted than I expected. It’s going to be very much a minor league level talent, the games should be a lot of fun.

Weird draft. Several days. Group by skill positions. One day QB, WR, RB, next day OL, next day DL. Etc.

I’m looking forward to this. The DC Defenders will be playing across the street from me. Tickets are cheap as well. They actually have football people running this and are trying to make it legit. If they put a good product out there then it could work.

There's some good talent that was picked up in the draft and there's good coaches in the league. All very good signs. Still after the first XFL, I'm only cautiously optimistic -- although the price point is so good I did go ahead and get season tickets.

I’m thinking about it

If the XFL is going to be successful this time around it needs to fix the access problem the Alliance of American Football had last year. They had good football, good players, good coaches but watching their games was a pain in the ass. The XFL is going to have to make access free and easy.

The games are on ESPN, ABC, FOX AND FS1. If you go to the website they already have what channel and times the games will be played.
