Apologies if this has been addressed in a previous thread, but I haven't seen anything about this topic yet and had some interesting news to report that's only news if it hasn't already shown up somewhere else already.
BUT...
If any of us (myself included) were hoping to see Keevan Lucas get a medical hardship for 2017, doesn't look like its going to happen--not because of the NCAA but because Lucas himself is going to be ready to move on after this season. He graduates this year and, according to a high ranking athletic administrator, won't pursue the opportunity to extend his college career.
Not sure if this is public knowledge or not. I don't read the Tulsa World so maybe he's said something to the press and I just missed it. Regardless, I was bummed to hear this news. I know it was probably 50-50 at best for the extra year, but it would've been great to have him back and see him push the career yardage record to 4,000-plus.
So enjoy watching him play for the last time in the bowl game and root for him to get those 166 yards and the TU record.
