I know that the real quality of this 2016 recruiting class will be determined on the court, but I'm starting to get pretty skeptical as to who Haith is bringing in. This is the 3rd or 4th guy who had no offers from major schools.

He looks alright on tape, but Tulsa is in a good conference now and had had sustained success. We should be able to grab some top tier talent. I'm starting to think Haith's reputation from his previous coaching stops has become a detriment to our program (recruiting wise)

Swanson/Reed.
If having no other big offers is the only issue, not worried.... Proof is in the on court production and making the grades to stay eligible.

We could have hire Donnie Tyndall (and he was rumored to have been on campus for an interview). Thank God we didn't go down that nightmare

It just seems like we're putting together a squad full of unknowns / overlooks. Could it pan out? Possibly. But I'll say you're a bit more likely to win with players with a certain pedigree. Brown isn't winning at SMU with a bunch of no-names.

True...but Haith hasn't proven himself to be anywhere close to the talent evaluator as the guy who recruited, signed, and later coached those guys.
