Hello Hurricane fans, TU fan checking in wondering if you would accept a bribe to lay down on Saturday. We really need to continue our momentum and get to a Bowl game.

First off, I have trouble reading these boards and relating to your TU because prior to our conference association, we were always TU. We still are TU so references to Tulsa as TU always confuse me.

That said, Ive made it out to your campus. In 2015, I went to the TU v Tulsa MBB game. It was not the outcome I was hoping for but I had great seats right behind our TU's bench and had a nice buzz entering the Reynolds Center having spent a coupe hours at the Buccaneer pre-gaming. Had a great time in there and felt like I left with almost as much money as I went in the place with.

Well, whats the lowdown on your TUFB team this year? I have to admit, I havent seen Tulsa play though I usually pay close attention to our whole conference. Ive been involved in a move and have Turkey Day commitments, otherwise, I would be on my way there to see this very important game for Temple. I hear your QB situation is an issue with injury or replacement issues??

I can say defense has probably been our strong suit. We are pretty decent against the run, ocassionally have a formidable pass rush against the right opponent and can hold our own vs mid level AAC teams. Our offense has been a problem. We never really settled on a QB though our current starter, Frank Nutile, seems like the best fit. He did not have a good game vs UCF. We may have lost one of our better WR, Ventell Bryant for the game too.

What can expect for TU (OK) ?

Our run game is strong like it was last year although we are down to 1 RB. Even when teams know we are going to run the ball, it has still been productive. Depending on which QB is in the game, there might be a hint of a passing threat or no threat at all. Or maybe we'll see a QB who has never played a down in a college game.

Our D is hit or miss...as in we gave up eleventy billion yards and points to Tulane, or the one that held Houston to 17 points and one of 2 schools in the last 30 or so games to hold USF to under 30. Tulsa held USF to 3 pts in the 2nd half last week.

Our PK is really good.

In 2016, we were finding ways to win close games. In 2017, we are finding ways to lose them.

I wrote you a guide to this years Tulsa Football, but it was such a downer I've decided to post this picture of a puppy instead:

What can you expect from TU? You can expect a nationally ranked cross country, tennis and soccer teams. We seem to have 100 girls rowing now and some of them are getting really good. One may even row for Oxford next year. You can also expect we will run the ball on every offensive play from scrimmage. If we do pass, it will only be if it is an RPO and the post snap read has completely shut down the run. In which case, we will heave it in the general direction of a receiver that will drop the ball. Our punter is exceptional when not pressured.

And don’t forget our world renowned engineering school including our cybersecurity curriculum.

Thanks for the responses. The amusing ones have me even more concerned. What a perfect spot to play poorly for us and if you have a general knowledge of Temple 's FB history you would know even greater disappointment. A few years ago, we had 8 wins and didn't get a bowl invite. This one scares the hell out of me. See you on the hardwood...
