If you are in Chicago area over Christmas and New Years...

Depends on the publication. They are #1 in the Chicago Public League and are defending Class 4 Champs. Joliet West is arguably #1(a) in Class 4. Bloomington is #1 in Class 3 (and perhaps the best team in the State). Simeon is, well, Simeon. #2 in the CPL; just behind Curie. This tourney is stacked! The top 4 seeds are heavy weights nationally. Whoever wins it likely is Top 5 in the U.S. -- w a case for #1 imo.

I just watched Joiner play (archived game) as his team beat Althoff 81-80 in the Marshall County Hoopfest. He had 31 points . More details on the other board. Hope you give us a report.

Wow...so TU could be getting the best player on the best team in Illinois and we all know how legendary Chicago hoops can be.

Nothing positive to report...
Joiner played like pooh. Curie loses to a mediocre Danville team. Joiner struggled big time imo.

Oh well...

Did you get to see him play yesterday? It seems he played well.

@slightwork11__ Elijah Joiner: 21 PTS, 4 REB, 4 AST, 3 STL for Curie (IL) in a win over Bloomington

Final: Curie 61, Bloomington 60 Joiner and Pickens were great. Another tough L for Purple Raiders. They're a very dangerous 3A team.

Had to leave... just watched the Danville game.
He struggled, but his entire team struggled.
They overlooked Danville --- everyone played flat.
Appears it was a wake up call.
