We have some AAC college basketball action on Sunday afternoon, as the Tulsa Golden Hurricane take on the South Florida Bulls.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane will try to find some consistency after alternating wins and losses in each of their last 4 games, including a 76-67 win over SMU in their last outing. Corey Henderson Jr. led Tulsa with 18 points with 5 threes, while Junior Etou came right behind with 17 points and 15 rebounds for the double-double. Martins Igbanu added 12 points while Jaleel Wheeler added 11 points with a 9 of 10 mark from the foul line. Daquan Jeffries chipped in 10 points to round out the scoring in double figures for Tulsa while Sterling Taplin added 5 points and a team-high 7 assists. Etou leads the Golden Hurricane with an average of 15.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game while Taplin leads Tulsa with 4.4 assists per game this season. As a team, Tulsa is scoring 73.7 points per game on 43.3% shooting from the field, 34.8% from behind the arc and 72.6% from the foul line this season.

The South Florida Bulls will look for a win to get out of the AAC basement after losing 9 of their last 10 games following an 86-74 loss to Memphis in their last outing. David Collins led South Florida with 21 points on 5 of 9 shooting with a 10 of 11 mark from the foul line. Payton Banks came 2nd with 16 points on 4 of 10 from behind the arc while Justin Brown chipped in 13 points. Terrence Samuel added 12 points and Stephen Jiggets contributed 10 points with a team-high 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Banks leads USF with an average of 12.4 points per game while Jiggets leads the Bulls in assists with 3.4 assists per game and Malik Martin leads the way on the glass with 4.7 rebounds per game this season. As a team, South Florida is scoring 63 points per game on 41.3% shooting from the field, 35.9% from behind the arc and 72.5% from the foul line this season.

Tulsa is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 5-11 ATS in their last 16 road games while the over is 5-0 in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record. South Florida is 2-8-1 ATS in their last 11 games overall and 25-51-2 ATS in their last 78 home games while the over is 21-6 in their last 27 games following a loss. The road team is 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.

Getting nearly double digits with a home dog is usually an intriguing play, however not when it’s South Florida. Home court hasn’t meant much for the Bulls as USF fails to cover numbers on a regular basis, and the home team has had the bulk of the success when these two teams meet. Tulsa hasn’t been overly consistent but the one consistent thing for USF is losing, and that won’t help here as Tulsa wins by double digits, remaining undefeated all-time in AAC play against USF.
