First time back this year. The pregame atmosphere is very impressive given the size of the university. The attendance for the pregame and number of people involved in tailgates, the entertainment, games/kids rides/events, business give always was better than I would have imagined. The parking signs, free parking areas, shuttles were very good but I still saw people pay $20 to park at Arby’s and $10 at Coney Island so the word isn’t completely out or some casual fans would rather pay and park a little closer than get on a shuttle. Congratulations to the administration for doing this and over time I believe it will pay off in attendance. I am curious how many TCC students took advantage of the free tickets?
I am hopeful that with these investments and a likely coaching change that our crowds will return and improve to 25,000 average over the next few years. Also hope that some effort will be made to get people to sit on the east side (this really creates a bad perception on TV).
Hated the loss but good things are coming next year.
