Has any Tulsa team not received an NCAA bid in the year their coach won a coach of the year

As much grief as some of us have given Coach Haith for whatever shortcomings we believe he has, he has been a great ambassador for TU while he has been here. I don't recall any major issues with players getting in trouble, he's never said the fans suck or that you can't win with the resources the university has given him. He does the best he can and is always trying to find ways to improve whether it be the players he brings in, the assistants he brings in, etc.

Also, I think Brandon could have been defensive player of the year if he would have stayed healthy.
