GAME DAY!!!!!! The last regular season game. We are playing for the outright champion of the American. We will know before the game starts what seed we are playing for. If Houston and Tulsa both lose today then we will be the 2 seed. IF Tulsa loses and Houston wins we will be the 3 seed. IF Tulsa wins then we are THE NUMBER 1 SEED!!!!!

Two more teams have now ended their season in Arkansas State and UT Arlington. Vanderbilt is close to becoming a Q2 and Austin Peay is now a Q4.

Three Conferences have their tournament Championship game today they are the Atlantic Sun, Big South and Missouri Valley. The Missouri Valley could end up with a bid stealer since Northern Iowa (NET 48, Record 23-6) lost to Drake on Friday and could still receive that automatic berth. So this is one we will lose.

The Atlantic Sun on the other hand their only team around the top 68 (Liberty, NET 70, Record 27-4) is in the championship game against NET 252 Lipscomb. One is getting the Automatic Berth and I would rather it be Liberty.

The Big South is terrible and will only get one team in the field a their highest NET is 149.

Utah State was listed as a last 4 in in the projected brackets and with a NET of 43 yesterday I was pretty sure they were getting in regardless. Now their NET is in the 30's so I don't see them as a bid stealer.

I’m afraid the only true game of interest today is the one being played in Wichita. Biggest game for TU in a long time...at least until next week/weekend.

A Houston win would put a serious dent in the at large discussion for Memphis. A Houston loss would guarantee us a 1 or 2 seed I believe.

Thank you for giving us hope daily with net calculations I realize that is probably over now with only conference tournament games and little changes now that was a lot of work and made Tulsa seem relevant if only in our own minds and hoping for a different result at year end I figure we will lose our coach to a bigger program as he will be coach of the year.
