Today we take on a former Missouri Valley Conference team in Detroit Mercy. They record doesn’t look very good but I have watched them play and they are pretty good. We will need to be on our game to win this.

There are no games on the Mens Side of the basketball spectrum today or Friday. So there will be a new post on Saturday.

There was a womens game today. Tulsa edged out Prairie View A&M this afternoon at the Reynolds Center 66-61. Women are 7-2 on the season with their next game on Sunday at home against Central Arkansas.

And One

Let me feature one of the teams from the Myrtle Beach Invitational that will not be on our schedule. UMass is 7-1 so far this season and they also won the Invitational. Their only loss was at home to Towson St. They are playing a UMass Lowell team that is 9-1. Their only loss is to Rutgers. Currently UMass Lowell is up 24-10 on UMass. UMass now is coached by Frank Martin who was released by South Carolina. This might be a team to take notice of as long as they don’t lose to UMass Lowell.
