SMU picks up a win at Georgetown
Memphis falls at home to #3 Tennessee

Cincinnati could vault into the top 25 with a win on the road at Mississippi St. tonight. Big game for the AAC.

USF moves to 7-2 with a win over Appalachian State. 2 points for Joseph Battle. 3 points for Antun Maricevic.

I can understand the interest in Battle’s numbers but who is Antun?

Croatian juco big guy that visited in March. Thought we had him locked up, then he mysteriously committed to USF. We got Falokun instead.

At this point I'm glad we got Falokun. Maricevic only has two years as opposed to 3 for Falokun. And Falokun has at least as much promise, I think way more.

Temple just beat Davidson in OT

That's a nice win for Temple. They were down 6 with a minute left in OT and went banked-in 3, defensive stop, 3, steal and slam to win it.

Also, ORU improbably won at Richmond and SIU lost to #14 Buffalo for the second time this year.

Once again Witchita St doesn't know how to protect lead. 17 pt lead becomes 2 against So Miss.

This Shockers team has the feel of the 2004 Tulsa team. Two good players who've succeeded at the highest level surrounded by a bunch of guys who can't stop tripping on their own shoelaces.

Lots of young talent on this Shocker team, but their crowd is a huge home court boost. The freshman guard Stevenson is really up and down, but has a very nice stroke. He just needs D1 experience. They will be a tough out at home.

ORU winning any game against D1 competition is pretty improbable this year.

Don’t disparage Buffalo. They are freaking good.

Falokun needs as much playing time as we can get him and he needs to stay in the game when we get 15-20 point leads. I couldn't believe he only got 6 minutes against UNO when we had that huge lead. I don't want him to get many minutes in a close game but when we break away 15 points, he should rest Martins a lot.

I didn't watch but the last 7 or 8 minutes, but Cincy looked like they were being schooled by Miss St. Hopefully they'll get back on the verge of the top 25 with a winning streak of four(starting with UCLA), right before we beat them.

I hope, I hope, I hope....

That game was very close until MSU pulled away at the end. We’re going to have lots of issues inside with Cincinnati but their shooting is now in the NBA.

KState beat a solid Georgia State team at home. They’re now the #2 defense in the country behind Texas Tech.
Their star player went out with a foot injury and looks like he will be out for some time. Not great for us going forward.
