ITS GAME DAY!!!!! Today the Golden Hurricane look to getting back on the correct side of the record and move back to .500 on the season when they host Southern University out of the SWAC. Tulsa plays three SWAC opponents this year and so far are 1-0. We have 4 games left in the OOC schedule and all at home except for the UCF game in Surprise, FL. Lets get on the winning side of basketball.

Oral Roberts is playing in the Big Sky/Summit League Challenge. Why doesn’t the American get something like that going maybe with the Valley?

IF you are actually reading my posts then you have seen that the last couple the "Q" standings are not there. NCAA has taken this off the site and are sitting there with blanks. I havent perfected my spreadsheet to track the others like I do TU. That might be more of an investment than I am willing to make. So for the time being, you get what you get.

So a quick post as I am at an estate sale with my wife. I’ll make my post when I get home. Just wanted to put this out there that Tulsa dropped to 309 on the NET. Now as this is bad this isn’t our worst. 2022-2023 season we ended at a 324 on the NET. But with 364 teams in college basketball D1, that means there are only 53 teams worse than ours

Well Yesterday was a disappointing result. Lost by 4 on our home floor. Southern is at the top of the SWAC and has a decent NET for where they are. According to a few articles, the SWAC is considered a Tier one conference out of the Mid Majors. The American is considered a Tier Two. I don’t disagree with those articles really. So Tulsa is a 309 NET now. And before you get all crazy that this is the worst team yet. The 2022-2023 team went 5-25 and ended with a 324 NET so yes we can go lower.
