ORU leads Southwestern College (the Moundbuilders) at half 42-30. SC led for quite a while in the first half. Carlos Jurgens got hot from 3 late for ORU. He and another kid (Lacis) are from Europe (Germany and France I believe).

Nzekwesi is the only player that could give us trouble. He’s solid. And at least tonight they’ve played exclusively man to man defense. They also foul...a lot.

They really aren’t that good if you play a little bit of defense on them.

What type of mounds are they building?
No idea but they’re made out of BRICKS!

They’ve got one really nice guard who has 33 pts. Rest of the team has 20 combined.

Under 8, ORU up 72-53. Nzekwesi with 24. ORU has too much size for this NAIA squad.

Update: Guard from SC has 36 now.

McDuffie and Haynes-Jones played up to expectations and got a huge win for the Shocks.

Temple and UMass rolled bad opponents.

KState struggling to put away Kennesaw.

So, Southwest College’s athletic website is “buildersports.com”. They belong to NAIA Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference and they won their conference last year. Hunt has 40 pts for Southwest in this game.

ECU loses at home to James Madison.

Don't let that fool you. This is a night and day team from the last few ECU squads. They haven't quite figured it out all the way yet but are already showing flashes.

Take them lightly and catch and L real quick. The bottom of this conference looks to be coming up. Dooley will have ECU rolling soon and they sit in a recruit rich enviorment. Tulane is building. USF is in year two of their overhaul buy look better.
