We went perfect in the GOI yesterday. South Florida did beat Arkansas Pine bluff. We only play each of them once this year. So I counted this as a win as South Florida should have a higher NET than APB. Here is your slate of game to watch today.

Oral Roberts at Oklahoma State
Southeastern Louisiana at Tulane
Southeast Missouri State at Vanderbilt
Arkansas-Monticello at Arkansas State
Cincinnati at #18 Ohio State

No problem. Is ESPN+ worth the money
Definitely worth it next year when most of our games switch from espn3 to espn+. Big12 is contracted for the final 6 years of their tv contract, so they will be all over it. I assume there will be a few BYU games on it since they are still signed up with Espn. Bundesliga signed with them along with contracts with Dutch, English, British, and MLS futbol. It has a free week long trial, to check it out. It's early days, but it will definitely be important next year for a TU/American Conference fan.

roughnecks play on there quite a bit too. Worth the $5/month in my opinion.

Oh yeah, if you want to try it now, it's the only way you will be able to watch UTA, our next basketball game. After that there probably won't be many/any other TU games just on ESPN+ this season.

I believe the k State game is on +

This will be my 2nd or 3rd month on it. I'll probably cancel after nov or dec, and sign back up in late aug next year.

I love ESPN+! Had it for a year now and it shows every Roughneck game and it has every 30 for 30 documentary on there which is really cool and a bunch on mini series only for ESPN+ which are definitely worth the watch.

It’s only going to grow and get better in my opinion

I hope it doesn’t happen, but it would not surprise me to see TU lose these next 2 games. ORU giving OSU all they can handle and UTA road game isn’t coming at a good time.

Arkansas state wins big
OSU beats ORU by 5 in stoolwater
Tulame big over SE Louisiana
Vandy roll SE mizzou
Ohio state is now up on CINCINNATI

I'm coming around on the decision to move the three point line back. Watching Jarron Cumberland clank three after three tonight has been enjoyable.

I'm leaning more towards OSU just isn't that good instead of ORU being good

OSU does return all 5 starters from last year’s team plus a bunch of good frosh and a grad transfer. And we only beat them by 3 last year, at home. I’d say they’re at least as good as last year, therefore we better be up for ORU.

opening games are weird. Plus like I said before, I don’t think boynton is any good. Playing a “rivalry” game on the opening night can always be tricky.

tupatsfan looks at a roster and determines if a squad is any good. That makes sense.

didn’t osu lose to Charlotte to open the season last year? I believe so.

also, coaching matters yes, but we all know it’s not the Xs and the Os, it’s the jimmys and the Joes.

but cool story bro. Glad you’re not a basketball savant.

I agree 100%.

You were referencing this year’s osu roster, not last year’s. Please pay attention to your own statements. My point is ORU almost beat a much improved OSU team in Stillwater last night and we got to get better in a hurry because these next 2 games will test us big time. But you can look at a team’s roster and tell if they’re any good so I guess you’re not too worried about ORU.

How do we know osu is MUCH improved? How many times do I have to say it? Boynton is not a good coach, at all. Why is that difficult to understand? OSU was up by 16 in he second half and put it on cruise control. So no, they didn’t almost lose.

ORU will be better just based on age but yes, looking at OSUs roster...they aren’t that great. I truly don’t believe boynton is that great of a coach.
Well there is a reason they call it the Poke Choke!

I would never say OSU doesn't suck. I have more dignity than that.

Too early to make any judgments on Boynton. He's only coached two years and spent last season with six scholarship players. Next year will be the telling season imo. He will have his players and a very talented roster. He needs to not only make the tourney but win a game or two.

I didn’t say Boynton is a good coach. You claim that by looking at a roster you can determine if a team is any good or not. So by your “logic” we should have nothing to fear from ORU. If you looked at our 2001 roster I bet you would have thought that team sucked too. I go by what I see on the court and not what I see on a roster. You should stop now before you really embarrass yourself.
