Its HOLIDAY TOURNEY TIME!!!!!

I was going to make this a double day thread but there are just so many games the next few days and Opponents that we don’t know yet, I just couldn’t do it. So you will just have to SUFFER!!!!!!!!

Today starts the Charleston Classic in Charleston, South Carolina along with the Myrtle Beach Invitational in Conway, SC. The Myrtle Beach Invitational is the old Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

In Charleston, Boise State will take on #22 St. Bonaventure while Clemson takes on Temple. In Conway, East Carolina will face Oklahoma. All times and tv for the games are listed below.

St. Bonaventure went 16-4 last year and lost in the first round of the Tournament to LSU 76-61. They picked up two transfers from the portal. Quadry Adams is a 6-3, 190 pound 2 star Freshman Shooting Guard from Wake Forest. Abdoul Karim is a 6-9, 235 pound 3 star Sophomore Power Forward form Pittsburg. They have won both of their games this year but had to come from behind to beat Canisius out of the MAAC.

Samford beats Oregon State by 1 in Corvallis!! This is not looking good for our win over Oregon State. Hopefully the right the ship and fast.

Honestly, I don't think Oregon State is very good. Samford had been trounced by 20 by San Francisco in their matchup prior to Oregon State. Oregon's RPI will stay higher than a midmajor program because of who they get to play in the PAC 12, but right now, it doesn't look like a game that will gain us much in terms of prestige come March.

I absolutely agree with you on this. They were expected to do better than what they have shown. Playing in the PAC-12 though and you are correct will help their rating especially if they can garner a lot of wins. That said Samford did have a great night of shooting. They were 50.9 from the field, 44.4 from three point range and 83.3 on the free ones. They hit 12 three pointers. If a team is hot its hard to beat them even in your own place. Wil be keeping a close eye on this.
