ITS GAMEDAY!!!

Today Tulsa Men travel to New Orleans to take on Tulane. The Tulsa Women host Wichita State in the Reynolds Center. Lets hope both teams have better showing than their last game. Tulsa Men need a conference win and the ladies need to not keep it so close even though they won.

Demar Hamlin, the Bills Safety who collapsed Monday night is still in the ICU. He started a Toy Drive through his foundation, Chasing M’s and hoped to raise $25,000 for Toys for children that are underprivileged. The Go Fundme for the drive at 1 a.m. Tuesday morning had 2.4 Million, as I am typing this has raised 6.12 Million dollars as of this morning. This is the feel good story of the week.

The women’s team is playing at nearly the same time. I know which game will be more entertaining.

I'm just ignoring the men's season this year. Now once we hit the offseason and he really starts to turn over the roster, I'll be all in.

The men took a 9 spot tumble down the NET but Tulane only went up 1 spot. The Women went up one spot with their close win the Wichita State.

Murray State was the big winner moving up 19 spots on the NET with their 67-58 win over Bradley

Todays games

The number 2 Houston Cougars are hosting SMU tonight at the Frittata. This is what I will call it from now on.

All of the Expansion teams are playing tonight especially FAU with that NET of 11. They should be a good addition to the conference.

And One

I think that I am in a spot right now that I am just morbidly curious on how far we fall in the NET. We all know this is a dead year but I don’t think its fair to dice up the team when we know they are learning a new system and new players with a new coaching staff and a different philosophy. My big concern right now is on Nikita. Where is he on the injury front? When will we see him on the court? How will this team look with him in the lineup and healthy?
