ITS GAME DAY!!!!!!

Tulsa is down in Greenville over here in my neck of the woods to take on the Pirates. This is an early game today.

There is a big slate of good games going on today. So some great basketball viewing. We only have one postponement and that is Cincinnati at South Florida cause the Bulls suck at social distancing.

We do have one rescheduled game and that is South Carolina at Vanderbilt. I expect South Carolina to win this game.

Tcu is pounding 12 th ranked Missouri will that help us a lot and how did Memphis get back to back home games against ucf?

I still think Missouri will beat TCU somehow. TCU has hurt us all year as well as terrible South Carolina We should have beaten them both.

OT in Wichita.

UCF let them get back into a close game. Hope UCF can pull off the win, but Wichita is not looking like they'll make it easy. Have a feeling the shockers will pull it out.

Vanderbilt is beating the brakes off of South Carolina. Up by 20 with over 6 left in the game
At this point we’re conference tourney or bust so it doesn’t really matter much anymore. Gotta run the table in the tourney for a chance at March Madness.

Honestly, we’ve been conference tourney or bust since we only played 2 semi decent non conference games and lost them both. Getting destroyed by Wichita and temple didn’t help either.

TCU and South Carolina were about like ECU and yet we did not have our team ready to play and unfortunately for the nth time we miss the tournament because of not being ready to play on Game 1 like our opponents. And its not like our opponents had a lot more practices than we had...... I'm still hoping we do have an AAC tournament so we have a slim chance, especially if the unexpected occurs and Houston pulls out.

I disagree with that statement all together. We were very much in the thick of it after we rebounded from those losses at the beginning of the year. Losing twice to Wichita State sucked but didnt kill us. The loss to Temple did do some damage. We still have good games left and with how some of these conferences are shaking up right now you just dont know.

We got the win yesterday. It should not have been that close but its a win and hopefully put the guys in a better frame of mind going into the homestretch here. We still have meaningful games ahead.

With all of the negativity going on we have NO Q4 losses! The past few years we had at least 1 if not 2.

We only have 1 Q3 loss and that can be a Q2. In the past couple years we had a few of those.

Yeah we could have one some of the games we lost but our Q standings are not looking bad.

I was disappointed with the TCU and UCF results. Both teams had good leads with just a couple minutes left. TCU played brake ball and let Mizzou back in. UCF played dumb offense and the refs started calling every little touch when UCF was on defense sending WSU to the line.
Add to those 2, the Celtics lost to the Lakers on a missed 10 footer by Kemba Walker at the buzzer and the Bruins lost in OT to the Capitals and the only 2 games that went my way yesterday were TU and TU women.

LETS GO CAPS!!!!

Weekly Sunday hobby:

Race for second wide open
Using the -1 for a home loss and +1 for a road win
1. UH +4
2. WSU, TU +2
4. Mem +1
5. SMU , USF Even
7. Temple, UCF, Cinn -1
10. Tulane, ECU -3

The only way I know to get this right is to add up the minus and plus, each 9
Or count number of home losses and road wins, each 17

Zeros
Teams without a home loss UH and WSU
Teams with no road wins UCF, Tulane and ECU
Team with no home wins Cinn

Feel free to check

Houston Smu on espn announcers said aac is a one bid league with Tulsa the only team with a chance for an at large bid. You mean theirs a chance lol

I disagree. We need SMU to beat Houston so that when we beat SMU it will help us out. Houston is a lock for the tournament. We need SMU to win
As always, go with the opposite of what he says.(Except UCF yesterday.)

I was thinking we might get swept by Smu and we need them to finish behind us since they would hold the tiebreaker with a sweep as we might win at home but we definitely won’t win in Dallas just my thoughts.

Well I am hoping that we can win out the rest of the season. I am hoping getting a win yesterday gets TU in a different mindset. I want to get us in the best possible position we can. I’m not expecting to get swept until it happens. I got your line of thinking but I don’t want to predict the outcome of our future

You are probably correct because an Smu loss would put us 1/2 game out 2nd tied with Memphis and we hold the tiebreaker with Memphis I guess I’m trying to back into 2nd place lol

Realtimerpi.com as of today has the following rpi Houston 1 Wichita 39 Tulsa 48 Temple 55 Smu 64 i think that is the most accurate rpi 😂

This compares with Nolanwarren, com rpi Houston 1 Wichita 38 Tulsa 57 Smu 64 Smu 64 pretty close except for Temple.

Kendric Davis gets his fourth foul, SMU trails by 13, and have for quite awhile. And there is like 11 and change left.

SMU goes down for the count.

So why is Tulsa so freaking high at 87 that’s a huge difference it’s like the net is really skewed against us
