Its GAMEDAY!!! Tulsa hosts the Tulane Green Wave. The only decent win they have had was against California by 3. They did lose close to FAU at home. They have only won 1 away game and that was a 117-110 over Fordham. Tulsa still has yet to win a conference match this season while on their 3 game skid. Tulsa plays better at the Reynolds center so hopefully we can get that win.

That would be 14–16 to 16-14 which was the goal for most of us and in the area I would be happy with.
With some missing pieces coming in and if we can retain Haggerty, Archie, Reed, then with Willis returning we could have some real fun next year!

next year! I am having fun this year. by this time last year my anxiety was getting to me losing so bad. I feel much better this year especially watching Reed get better and better. He was my Player of the game yesterday. We played much better when he was on the court. I cant say how many more wins we will get because some of these teams are playing the top teams close such as UTSA who is the bottom feeder here in the NET has a win in conference over Rice but played Memphis to overtime. We have 14 games left but you are absolutely correct about next year. To be honest I am really thinking that Willis might have been the piece that would have set this team on fire and blazing through the schedule this year.

Yesterday was a huge let down. We were up by 14 points with 6 minutes to play and they came back to tie the game up. Poor free throw shooting in the last few minutes of the game and sitting Reed for a stretch (I am sure he was tired) allowed Tulane to get off some good 3 pointers and drive inside to get the tie. If Haggerty had hit both free throws at the end of regulation, Tulane would have had to go for 3. They miss we win but he only hit one which made it a 2 point game. The overtime we started playing hero ball and that can win you games but it can lose you more than it can win you. We did drop a few spots but Tulane also dropped. This is our only meeting with Tulane unless we see them in Fort Worth.

Correct, I think yesterday Konkol finally realized Reed is the guy there going
forward.

And thankfully, so has Reed....You could see his confidence building over the
two games previous to this one...He seems to be playing with an assurance
he didn't have previously...

I would guess as his experience deepens, so will his positive influence on
outcomes grow as well...It looks like a good future for him...

I hope to team can pull out a victory tonight...They have been SO close!
