Good win (80-76) but a scary hold- on after a huge first half lead. Tulsa held on with 19-21 free throws from Odom and Willis and great shooting from Barnes and Garcia and withstood a tough full court second half press and 3 point shooting by UTSA.
Barnes had 7-10 from the field and 3-5 from the three as well as 8 rebounds in 38 minutes....his best game.
Poor passing decisions the first half kept a 19 point lead from being 25 as TU's shooting and rebounding were superb.
Garcia had 7-8 from the field and most were inside the arc where he is getting a lot better.
The team is looking better the past two games but the next game with UNT will be difficult as they are the best defensive team in the league.
