An absolutely fitting end to his outstanding home career for a guy who believes in miracles.

For Jeriah Horne, practicing for a miracle is something that paid off in one of the all-time endings to a game in TU basketball history.

Horne made a half-court shot at the buzzer to lead Tulsa to a stunning 73-72 victory over UCF on Senior Day Sunday afternoon in front of 3,587 fans at the Reynolds Center.

I have been going to TU basketball games since the early 60’s at the fairgrounds, and I have never seen a finish that good. Fantastic. Horne has a future in pro ball, and it may be in Europe or Asia.

This team does not quit. Beat Wichita.

Wichita is beatable with poor outside shooting a lot of the time if we can get the big guy in foul trouble. That is the key.
